Bio
Hi, I’m Elisa! I’m a VR software engineer transitioning into design and prototyping to pursue my passion for creating community-oriented immersive experiences.
I was born and raised in San Diego, CA, where I grew up surrounded by flocks of pet parakeets and Tamagotchis. I later moved to the Bay Area to study at Stanford University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Symbolic Systems, an interdisciplinary degree that explores human-computer interaction through computer science, psychology, philosophy, and linguistics.
Throughout my undergraduate years and beyond, I worked on the front end of VR technology across social and educational applications. After four years in engineering, I’m excited to lean into my creative side through Berkeley’s MDes program and build human-centered applications that foster genuine connections.
Outside of developing tech, I love making cover songs, playing cozy video games, wandering around the city, and chilling with my cat, Azalea.
