2025 Graduate Exhibition

The Berkeley MDes Class of 2025 turns its attention toward problems that matter: the complex, urgent, and deeply human questions shaping our shared future. Through final thesis projects developed in the program’s culminating studio, students explore the social, cultural, environmental, and technological contexts of emerging systems, from artificial intelligence and extended reality to sensing, spatial computing, and beyond. Together, these works reflect a cohort committed to using design as a way to question, prototype, and reimagine more thoughtful possibilities for people, communities, and the world around us.
