Hear directly from MDes students about their experience in the program at UC Berkeley’s virtual Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair. This event is uniquely designed for underrepresented minority students considering graduate school at Berkeley, though it is open to all prospective students.

MDes Admissions Visit Day

Come experience UC Berkeley’s Master of Design (MDes) program in action! Get a tour of our state-of-the-art Makerspace and MDes studio from 4-5pm, attend an info session from 5-6pm and meet MDes Faculty Director Kyle Steinfeld; then from 6-7 pm sit in on one of the required MDes courses on Technology Design Foundations. Attend whichever part you can! Dinner provided for 5pm info session.

Information Session: Career Resources

Come learn about potential career pathways and the myriad of professional development opportunities and resources available to MDes students. The session will be led by Stephanie Bianco, the program’s Director of Career Development. We’ll save some time for Q&A. Although this info session is focused on career related topics, you are also welcome to ask questions about other aspects of the program.

MDes2023 Graduate Thesis Exhibition

Experience the culminating work of the students in the graduating MDes2024 cohort. The Graduate Exhibition offers a firsthand look at the remarkable projects by our students as part of their capstone degree requirements, providing valuable insights into the transformative experiences and outcomes that you can achieve through the MDes program.
