MDes Student Panel @ Berkeley Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair

What makes UC Berkeley’s Master of Design (MDes) program special? Because Berkeley is a place where technology, innovation, and social impact intersect in powerful ways. Come learn how you can drive meaningful change through design and technology from a diverse panel of MDes students. This event is part of the Graduate Diversity Admissions Fair, which is uniquely designed for underrepresented minority students considering graduate school at Berkeley, though it is open to all prospective students.

Come learn about potential career pathways and the myriad of professional development opportunities and resources available to MDes students. The session will be led by Stephanie Bianco, the program’s Director of Career Development and feature a panel of MDes alumni.

MDes Admissions Visit Day!

Come experience UC Berkeley’s Master of Design (MDes) program in action! Get a tour of our state-of-the-art Makerspace and MDes studio from 3-4pm, attend an info session from 4-5pm and meet MDes Faculty Associate Director, Kosa Goucher-Lambert; then from 5-7pm sit in on one of the required MDes courses on Technology Design Foundations; and end the day with a social with current MDes students. Attend whichever part you can!

Join us in Jacobs Hall to see examples of our first-year MDes students’ work from their first semester at the Jacobs Design Showcase. This is an ideal time to talk to currents students about their work and the MDes curriculum.

Graduate Thesis Exhibition

Experience the culminating work of the students in the graduating MDes2025 cohort. The Graduate Exhibition offers a firsthand look at the remarkable projects by our students as part of their capstone degree requirements, providing valuable insights into the transformative experiences and outcomes that you can achieve through the MDes.
