Applications for the Fall 2027 Berkeley Master of Design cohort are now open, with a deadline of January 6, 2027 at 8:59 PM PST.

To help you decide if the MDes is right for you, we’ve announced our Fall 2026 admissions events — a chance to hear directly from alumni, current students, and faculty about what the program is really like. Highlights include:

• OCT 8: MDes Career Pathways & Alumni Panel (virtual)
• OCT 20: Inside the MDes: What You’ll Actually Learn (virtual)
• NOV 4: MDes Admissions Class Visit: Design Frameworks (virtual and in person)
• NOV 5: MDes Admissions Visit Day (in person)

See the full schedule and register on our Admissions Events page for complete details.  We hope to see you this fall — on Zoom, on campus, or both.
