Alexis Chew

Bio

I’m Alexis Chew, a designer and environmental advocate from the Bay Area, working at the intersection of human experience, digital systems, and ecological care. My undergraduate background is in Environmental Studies and Technology from UC Santa Barbara, but my work has always been guided less by discipline and more by a persistent question: How do we design for deeper connection—with each other, with place, and with the planet?

I love when design feels less like an answer and more like an invitation. That same spirit shows up in the experiences I enjoy most: finishing a rock climb, scoring a vintage piece, hearing a favorite song for the first time, or laying by a sunny window with my cat, Bug.
