Ananth Nayak

Bio

I’m Ananth, a mechanical engineer with a minor in machine design from Manipal Institute of Technology. Since I was a kid, I have been keen on breaking obsolete things to find out the mechanism and tech involved in building them. During my undergraduate studies, I interned at various product-based companies ranging from a startup to a multi-national company as a UI/UX and Mechanical Designer. I believe that simple human-centered designs, amalgamated with emerging technology, can help solve several social, environmental, and economic problems in the world. I like to question existing designs to try and come up with new solutions and methods.

When I’m not doing my coursework/work, you can usually spot me playing basketball or moving around with my camera/phone trying to capture almost anything and everything with my lens.

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?

Looking forward to collaborate with people from various disciplines and backgrounds on cutting edge technology.
