Bio

Hi, I’m Chantal. An Industrial Designer.

I grew up being a very curious person, always questioning the purpose of things and using my imagination to create something better.

I have the perfect mix of technical and artistic background, but want to continue to learn and grow, both as a designer and as a person. People often see designers as just artistic individuals, but I see us as problem solvers.

By joining the MDes program, I will be able to do what I love and do best: the human part of design. Working with a human, I thrive on that, I am a people’s person and communicate very well, and then when the product/service is done, I feel satisfied with its impact.

My interests in design vary within the healthcare and wellness industry, doing medical and wearable technology research, to create intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly solutions.

Besides design, I’m passionate about traveling, reading, and staying active!
