Divya Srinivasan is an interdisciplinary engineer and designer passionate about developing and bringing early-stage technologies to life. She is currently a Senior Applications Engineer at geCKo Materials, a company developing biomimetic adhesive materials inspired by geckos. In her role, she collaborates with researchers and companies across robotics, space, and industrial sectors to explore and develop new applications for the technology.

Previously, she worked in 3D printing research and development at Carbon, where she contributed to the development and advancement of emerging manufacturing technologies. Her work and experience span industries including 3D printing, biomimicry, semiconductors, academic research, and advanced manufacturing. During her time at UC Berkeley, she focused on sustainable materials, technologies, and manufacturing methods, exploring how material innovation can contribute to more sustainable approaches to design and production.

Outside of her professional work, Divya continues to experiment with bio-based materials and material-driven design, leads hands-on workshops, and connects with local artists, designers, and creative communities. 

Divya holds a bachelor’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Design degree from UC Berkeley.
