Bio

Hi, I am Gracy (she/her)!

I recently graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi that gave me global exposure and taught me to truly embrace my aspirations.

I am interested in working on Assistive Technology, mainly Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) for individuals with severe expressive communication disorders. The Berkeley MDes will help me foster development, expression, and cognitive augmentation by providing me with the right ecosystem. I want to construct foundational new technology that changes the potential of every human by pulling inspiration from children with the most severe or rare special needs.

Apart from this, I enjoy traveling, cooking and spending time with my plants.

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?

I am truly most excited to engage in peer-to-peer learning, as design is a behaviourial science and learning can be strongly enriched in the company of unconventional thinkers. I wish to be inspired by the community here, as I go on to inspire others.
