Bio

I recently graduated from ASU where I had the opportunity to work in two research labs as a UX designer on multiple mixed reality experiences. I love to keep busy and I make sure that my life is never filled with a dull moment. There are so many things that I want to learn and do, so I always find myself picking up new hobbies. I love to hike, cook, play card games, and I have recently been learning to play guitar!

Another passion that I have always held close to my heart is art, and I feel so grateful to have been able to explore this passion more deeply during a semester abroad in Florence, Italy where I got to learn about the history and technical expertise that surrounds the city.

Even though I never initially saw myself working with technology, it is clear to me that technology is a ubiquitous part of Western culture and when combined with art can affect people in profound ways. I am passionate about exploring this intersection to find innovate ways to spread social justice through designing intuitive and impactful interfaces.

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?

I am excited to join this unique community, where individuals are driven to not only better themselves, but also those around them. I cannot wait to be a part of such a diverse and inclusive culture!
