Heeje Lee

Bio

Hello! My name is Heeje Lee, and I’m a Systems Engineer and Creative Technologist.

With a background in Electrical Engineering, I’ve worked in the defense industry designing and integrating both new and legacy technologies across multiple projects. Outside of my professional career, I’ve explored the intersection of art and technology through creative technology projects, developing interactive experiences that combine technical systems with creative expression.

During my time in the Berkeley MDes program, I hope to further grow as a creative technologist by exploring mediums such as wearable technology and community-focused interactive physical installations. I’m especially excited to learn how emerging technologies can shape experiences in spatial and media design.

In my free time, I enjoy going on runs, listening to music, browsing card shows, and watching football with my friends and family.
