Bio

I’m an interaction designer, creative technologist, and curious wizard turning coffee into products, arts, and inventions. My work sits at the intersection of UI/UX, New Media, Industrial Design, Programming, Electronics, and Data Science.

I have an interdisciplinary background across software, hardware, marketing, finance, and design. Prior to my graduate study, I worked at J.P. Morgan Asset Management as a senior software engineer, who also took the responsibilities of a designer due to the lack of such role in the traditional financial institution. I helped develop and design their firmwide trading system for human and robot traders across the globe. In my college years at HKUST, I spent my summers interning at Uber, 500 Global, and EventX, while studying Computer Engineering, Business Management, and Design at school.

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?

I am most looking forward to meeting my fellow talented classmates and gaining hands-on product/interaction design experiences in the program.
