Bio

Hi! My name is Insun. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and have also spent significant time in Washington D.C., Melbourne, and London. I’m incredibly excited to start my master’s here in the Bay Area — one of my favorite places in the world.

I studied Graphic Design at Kingston University London. While I initially chose it for my broad interest in creativity with no specific path in mind, my final year experiences really solidified my path. I saw firsthand how product design could meaningfully shape interactions and impact lives, which sparked a deep interest in this field.

At MDes, I’m eager to build on this foundation, specifically focusing on how we can create innovative and environmentally conscious design solutions, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the field.
