Bio

I’m a designer, engineer, and maker with a background in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. I’m especially drawn to physical interactions; designing from first principles in emerging technologies where design approaches are still being defined.

My work spans a range of roles and industries, including human factors/ergonomics in nuclear power and aviation, UXR in the digital accessibility space, automotive craftsmanship engineering, and industrial design for startups.

During my time in MDes, I’m excited to deepen my hands-on prototyping skills and make things that are intuitive and playful to interact with. I want to explore how we can design technology to encourage interdependence.

I’m always making something! Outside of work you can find me constructing chainmail, silversmithing, or testing the limits of my 3D printer.
