Bio
I’m Justin, a multi-disciplinary designer interested in emerging technologies in the fields of healthcare and sustainability. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Virginia, where I spent several years researching and designing medical equipment. My work includes peer-reviewed cancer research, novel surgical training tools, and custom assistive devices. I have a passion for personalized design, and I am interested in technology that serves to both augment and restore. Recently, I’ve been digging into my own process through my experiences leading UX/UI design at a startup. I’m excited to learn more in the MDes program about creating products that are beautiful in both form and function.
My hobbies include watching and playing soccer (Arsenal fan through and through), skiing, painting, and all things food.
What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?
I’m really excited to learn about frameworks and processes that will help me design for the future. I also can’t wait to work with the rest of the cohort!
