Bio

I’m a UX Designer based in New York City motivated by simplifying complex systems and making them functional tools. I graduated from CUNY Hunter College, where I double majored in Anthropology and Emerging Media Studies. At Hunter, I was the Editor-in-Chief of our campus newspaper, coached swimming, and was Chair of the Media Board where I managed all print publications. For my undergraduate thesis, I conducted research in South Korea and explored varying narratives/implications of the Korean War on veterans and their families.

Currently: I’m a UX Designer at the Quincy Institute for Responsible Statecraft where I craft experiences that enhance reader engagement. I’m also a Designer at The Freedom Seal – an organization that offers solutions which combats human trafficking and modern slavery.

Previously: UX Designer @ CoronaWhy where I reimagined the literature review experience for epidemiologists through artificial intelligence | UX Design Lead @ Bridgit.io where I empowered e-learners to own the online classroom experience.

When I’m not designing, I’m likely reading “The Things They Carried” by Tim O’Brien, or tinkering with an Arduino project to configure a simple clock or interactive map. My passions include reading, swimming, and being a cat mama 🐈

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?
