Kailin Li

I’m Kailin, graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Cognitive Science and Economics. I was born in Guangzhou, China, but moved to California when I was twelve years old. I have volunteer/work experience in teaching, marketing, and project management. My design philosophy revolves around staying open-minded, empowering users with necessary information, and considering the potential implications of a design beyond its original purpose. Areas that I hope to address as a designer include: healthcare access, socio-economic equality, and data literacy. On a free weekend, I like to pick up my Fujifilm camera and go for a photoshoot, or paint with watercolors or oils at home. Will *always* make time for karaoke sessions and live concerts!

I am most looking forward to the dynamic and diverse cohort with a variety of background skills and experiences. It’ll be quite inspiring!
