Bio

Hi, I’m Katherine (or simply Kat!)

I graduated from New York University with a BS in Media, Culture, and Communication and a minor in web programming. One thing that comes out of my undergraduate study is that technology is never neutral. I am eager to think critically at the intersection of technology and humanities and become a multi-faceted designer. My past projects have tried to connect design methodologies to feminist and queer studies. My most recent project focuses on using XR and tangible interfaces to build innovative exhibiting experiences for historical houses at NYC. I also have experience in creative coding, graphic design, marketing, and project management.

Outside coursework, I love traveling, jazz dancing and making handcrafts like jewelry, embroidery, rug, and collage.
