Levy Liu

Bio

I’m Levy Liu, a designer from Beijing. I studied product design at Tsinghua University, focusing on transportation interiors. But somewhere along the way, I became less interested in cars and more interested in how people actually experience the world. My projects since then have all been about that shift.

I love building things that help people connect — whether it’s a wearable device, an AI assistant, or a service system. You’ll usually find me working on side projects that explore technology and human behavior.

Outside of design, I’ve been running a social media account for over five years — it grew to 1.5 million followers. I enjoy capturing everyday moments, hiking to places with no cell service, and finding the best restaurants in any city I visit.

I’m coming to MDes not just to fill technical gaps, but to work alongside people who care about the same thing: building technology that actually makes us more human, not less.
