Liam Hatakenaka

Bio

Hi there! My name is Liam Hatakenaka and I am from Bainbridge Island, a small town just west of Seattle, Washington.

I recently graduated from University of Portland, where I received my degree in Marketing with a minor in Innovation, which introduced me to the field of Human-Centered Design. I quickly fell in love with the design process. During my time in MDes, I hope to deepen my knowledge of Human-Computer Interaction and gain inspiration from new people and experiences.

When I am not in the classroom, you can find me watching my Seattle Mariners, playing basketball, and cooking my favorite Japanese meals.
