Bio

Hi! I’m Lillian, a designer and artist from Shanghai, China. Before joining Berkeley MDes, I spent 5 years in LA learning Photo & Media at CalArts. I explored storytelling through photography, interactive installations, and digital experiences there.

I’m interested in the intersection of design, technology, and emotional well-being. A lot of my work is inspired by personal memories, relationships, and everyday moments of care. Through interactive experiences, I like exploring how design can help people feel more connected to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

Outside of design, I enjoy hiking, biking, basketball, badminton, and discovering new places. I’m excited to learn from the Berkeley community and meet people who are equally curious about creating thoughtful and impactful experiences.
