Bio

Hi! I’m Lingxiu. My interests are broadly in the intersections of novel technologies and interaction models, and their applications in more sustainable/ethical ways. During my undergrad at Vassar College, I studied Cognitive Science with a focus on robotics/AI from a systems thinking approach, grounded in technical experimentation. Since graduating, my work at research labs has explored adaptive reuse in robotics and novel interactive devices for teaching.

I joined the MDes program to explore how to combine novel, useful technologies with more sustainable, ethical business models in a design-focused setting alongside interdisciplinary classmates.

My other interests include filmmaking as well as thing-making, though you’ll most often find me out rock climbing these days.
