Lucila A Duloup (Lula)

Bio

Hello there!

My name is Lucila from Argentina, but you can call me Lula. I am an Industrial Designer who is passionate about design, social impact, and art.

I worked at the Argentinean Ministry of Health and Social Development where I designed & launched a digital platform called ‘Let’s Talk About Everything’ aimed to inform and create awareness among young people about taboo topics such as sexuality, gender violence, bullying, etc. I was promoted to Program Manager, leading a cross-functional team of 23 diverse people. I was invited by UNESCO as a featured speaker to talk about the program’s good practices at an international symposium.

Art in several forms has been an essential part of my proactive life. I developed, directed, and acted in a theater performance that was a satire of the political corruption in Latin America. I’m also involved in an ongoing art project, in which I combine illustrations and the literal meaning of common Argentinean expressions in a humorous way.

I want to focus my studies on how to leverage new technologies such as AI, VR and AR to create social impact. I am looking forward to working with my talented classmates and faculty!

What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?

To be full-time creating, designing, investigating, taking risks, and growing with such talented classmates and faculty!
