Bio

Hi, I’m Minglu (MING-loo) ! I’m an interdisciplinary designer and researcher working across art, technology, exhibition-making, prototyping, and interactive systems.

I see myself as a curious maker, idea explorer, and multi-directional thinker. I’m drawn to things that are strange, experimental, and innovative. I enjoy turning abstract ideas into tangible experiences.

I received both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from China Academy of Art, where I developed an ongoing practice in spatial design, media art, and curatorial work.

My current practice explores how emerging technologies reshape human perception, creativity, and more-than-human relations. Through projects involving AI interfaces, bio-hybrid prototypes, immersive installations, and experimental systems, I investigate how systems can move beyond control and efficiency toward transparency, symbiosis, and co-adaptation. I hope to imagine new ways for humans, machines, and living systems to coexist.

In my spare time, I enjoy painting, calligraphy, skiing, badminton, music and noticing small moments of beauty in everyday life.
