I’m Tong/Anthony, a designer focused on creating possibilities, interactions and experiences from the user’s perspectives. I graduated from SJTU in China with a Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Design. My work sits at the integration of physical products, engineering structure, programming and UI/UX. I am passionate about creating fun and interactive gadgets. And I am equally concerned with issues of sustainable design and cultural preservation. For my graduate study, I expect to expand my design perspectives in the MDes creative community. I want to explore machine learning, AR/VR, HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and TUI (Tangible User Interface) designs. My hobbies include food, travel and photography. If not a designer, I would love to be a chef or photographer.
What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?
I am passionate about working with the cohort to integrate emerging technologies into designs.
