Bio
Hi, I’m Runming (Eva) Fan, a designer exploring the intersection of tangible interaction, emotional technology, and AI. With a background in industrial design from ShanghaiTech University and an exchange semester at MIT, I’m passionate about creating meaningful connections between people and technology through hands-on, interdisciplinary work.
My approach blends physical prototyping, interactive systems, and narrative-driven experiences. Whether designing tools for emotional expression or interfaces for daily use, I strive to build systems that are intuitive, reflective, and human-centered.
At Berkeley, I look forward to expanding my critical design lens, collaborating across disciplines, and pushing the boundaries of how we interact with intelligent systems—especially in contexts that require care, empathy, and creativity.
