Sylvie Weintraub

Bio

Hi, I’m Sylvie! I’m a designer with a background in engineering and a passion for technology, humans, nature, and capturing beauty.

I am originally from Duluth, MN—I grew up on the shores of Lake Superior (the greatest of the great lakes). I studied industrial engineering & economics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I kayaked in Lake Mendota and competed as a beatboxer in my acappella group. For the past four years, I have explored how intentional, human-centered design and innovation can uplift federal and local governments and the people they serve. I plan to continue exploring design methods, specifically designing for extremes and inclusive design.

Within and beyond my career, I get energy from connecting with humans, trying new things, spending time with nature, creating moments, capturing moments, and following where curiosity leads.
