Bio

Hey, I’m Vivienne!

I graduated from Santa Clara University, where I earned a B.S. in Computer Science & Engineering and minored in graphic design. I originally focused on the technical side of things, drawn to problem-solving and building systems from the ground up. Over time, I became increasingly interested in the questions surrounding how people understand, trust, and experience those systems.

I realized I was less interested in building technology for its own sake than in figuring out how to make complex ideas, systems, and interactions feel intuitive, meaningful, and worth engaging with. Through MDes, I hope to keep exploring how design can empower individuals, work across contexts, and shape how people engage with the world.

In my free time, I love all kinds of art, cooking for myself, finding cute study spots, and exploring new places or things to do!
