Bio

Hi 🙂 My name is Xiao and I’m from Chongqing, China.

Coming from a background in Interactive Media Arts, I’ve explored physical computing, data visualization, audiovisual performance and kinetic light installation. While I’m fascinated by the immersive sensory impacts of those emerging technologies, I also want to design experiences that tell meaningful stories and build emotional connections with people.

At MDes program I want to further build on my skill sets in digital media to design and prototype interactions beyond screens. And I’m very interested in tangible interfaces and emotional design.
