Yutong (Belinda) Liu

Bio

Hi there, I’m Belinda. I graduated from ShanghaiTech University with a degree in Smart Design, where I focused on creating intelligent products from concept to prototype.

I’m passionate about exploring how design meets emerging technologies—especially in tangible interaction, AI, and healthcare. My goal is to craft experiences that feel fresh, intuitive, and meaningful.

I’ve worked on interdisciplinary projects from AI-powered dementia detection to interactive tools for protein science education. These experiences sharpened my skills in UX research, prototyping, and bridging complexity with simplicity.

Outside of design, I’m an avid music lover and clarinet player, having performed in orchestra for several years. I also love dogs and all things playful.
