Bio
My journey to Berkeley has been a zig-zag through different disciplines. Growing up in Germany, I quit school at the age of 17 to venture out into all kinds of jobs – for example, being a caretaker for the elderly, working on construction sites, or as a gardener.
After stints as a design assistant in fashion, I studied product design and came to America in 2016 to work for Calvin Klein in New York City. Followed by a jump into a Senior Design position at Coach since 2018. One of my biggest dreams is to see the earth from space.
I am looking forward to finding like-minded people from whom I can learn outside of my comfort zone. I think it is exciting to be a part of the first cohort in shaping design at Berkeley as well as being formed by Berkeley for precisely that matter.
