I’m Daisy/Qianyi. I design, code, and enjoy combining them with human factors. Coming from an Interactive Media Arts background, I’ve been experimenting with a variety of approaches including motion capture, physical computing, volumetric film, VR/AR, etc. In my work and research, I’ve explored different industries ranging from sustainability and social innovation to immersive entertainment. For graduate study, I’m particularly interested in developing creativity support tools and creating immersive experiences. I see Mdes as an important stop during my journey where I connect the dots and collaborate with peers to bring the magic of creativity and learning to more people in the world.
What are you most looking forward to in the MDes program?
